All are invited to be a part of this creative group of individuals that create various craft and fabric items that are donated to Mother Teresa for use at Mass or fundraisers.
The Garden Club at Mother Teresa holds a farmers market during the summer months. Produce for the market is donated by parishioners or grown on-site and various garden spots in the area. All proceeds are donated to the Topeka Rescue Mission as well as any unsold produce.
Be a part of a fun group that prepares and serves meals to families at funeral dinners.
Hands of Hope
This ministry was designed to reach out to the less fortunate in our North Topeka community with food and fellowship, while gaining personal enrichment in your faith. Each Monday evening from 5:30-6:30 pm, a crew of Mother Teresa parishioners serves a hot meal to individuals out of a trailer that's parked in the parking lot at the Moose Lodge. Casseroles are prepared and donated by Mother Teresa parishioners as well.
Prepare and serve lunch to members of the Topeka community one day per month (1st Friday of each month and 2nd Thursday of each month).
Whether you knit or crochet this is the group for you. All items are donated to various charities, continuing Mother Teresa's mission of charity.
Assemble sandwiches weekly, to be distributed locally from the Assumption Church site in downtown Topeka.
