SOULFIRE MUSIC MINISTRY - Join uS!  practiceS are held from 6-7:30 on the wed. nights prior to singing for 10:30 mass on the following Sundays:                          March 24th, APril 7th and 14th            Contact Nancy @ 806.4986 for more info!

 

MTCC YOUTH GROUP MEETING/SERVICE/FUNDRAISING/ACTIVITY INFO:

C2G2 and Youth Group Meetings:  Committed Catholic Girls and Guys (C2G2), for Youth in grades 9-12, meets from 5:30p - 7p on select Sundays and provides an opportunity to Dive Deep in our faith.  Youth Group Meetings for Youth in grades 7-12 are held on select Sundays from 7p - 8:30p in the Hospitality Room.  Friends are welcome!  Join us as we Seek Christ in all we do ~ Share our faith with others ~ and Serve our parish, community and world!   

LENTEN SUPPER CLUB - Sundays during Lent (6-8:30!   All youth in grades 7-12 are invited to join us for our annual Lenten SUPPER Club Sundays (March 10th - April 14th).  Just as Jesus gathered with his friends to eat and pray and share, we will cook dinner together followed by time to pray and reflect.  Friends are always welcome!!

EASTER EGG HUNT - Sat. April 20th 8:45-10a (Egg Stuffing, Sun. April 14th):  It's time for the annual Easter Egg Hunt!  Egg stuffing will be completed at SUPPER Club Sun, April 14th - each youth group member should bring 1-2 bags of individually wrapped candy for stuffing (Eggs are welcome too!)  Easter Egg Hunt will be Sat., April 20th - Set-up at 8:45a; Egg Hunt at 9:30a!  

Sun, April 21st - EASTER!  Celebrate the resurrection - No Youth Group!  

YOUTH SPRING FLING - Sat, April 27th  8:30-5p - REGISTER BY APR. 13th for FREE T-SHIRT:  The youth group from Pleasant Hills United Methodist Church is inviting all youth groups in North Topeka to a Youth Spring Fling event (maybe this will become an annual event)!  Register by April 13th by e-mailing This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. with the name, contact info (e-mail), T-shirt size, and vegan or regular lunch.  The event includes worship/music, speakers/games, breakfast/lunch and snacks!  Youth can come for part of the day if not available for the full event.  Cost is $5 (pay at the door).  See flyer for all the info!

Sun. May  5th - Celebration of Graduates Mass/Grad Farewell Dinner:  Sun, May 5th we will honor our graduates at the 10:30a Celebration of Graduates Mass!  Sunday evening all youth in grades 7-12 are invited to the Youth Group Senior farewell dinner at the home of Dcn Tim and Nancy Ruoff @ 5820 NE Shaffer Rd from 5:30 -8p  (Note: Dinner may be moved to another date based on availability of graduates being honored).    

 iCare Mass/Bowling Night - Sat., May 11th 6-9:30p:  All youth in grades 7-12 are invited to  join us at Most Pure Heart of Mary for the iCare Mass at 6p on Sat. May 11th (families are welcome to attend Mass as well!)  iCare Mass is a ministry to individuals with special needs.  Volunteers are welcome to help with Mass - musicians arrive at 5p, greeters, etc. at 5:30!  Following Mass we will head to Gage Bowl for an evening of bowling, food and fun from 7:30-9:30.  Cost is $12/person (Max $30/family).  Friends are welcome! 

 

Mother Teresa Youth Group for youth in grades 7-12 provides an opportunity for us to:

  • Seek our faith in the ordinary and the extra-ordinary
  • Share our faith with those we meet
  • Serve the most vulnerable in our parish, community and world

Junior or Senior High Youth are invited to develop their faith through fellowship, service, retreats and faith-filled events.
