Kids Games/Midway - SIMPLIFIED!
Anyone 7th grade and older can help monitor a craft table, yard game, and activity. Work the check-in table selling $2 wristbands. High schoolers and adults are needed to monitor the inflatables, but it is easy to stand back and let the kids just play!

Feed Lot
Lots of people are needed to serve on the food line.
No heavy lifting or restocking - just scoop and serve!

Like to grill? Work behind the scenes (or behind the tent) grilling up burgers and brats hot and fresh for the food line.

Others are needed to monitor the condiment table by keeping it stocked and cleaned.

Watering Hole
7th grade and older can sell soda, but most jobs in this area are for adults. Must be over 21 to serve/sell alcohol. Need people as cashiers, restocking ice/beer cans, pouring margaritas, and manning the beer stands during the concert.

Grounds Maintenance
Remove and replace trash can liners when the trash barrels are full. Must have a drivers license for this job because you get to use the golf cart to haul the trash bags to the dumpster.

Table Clean up
Pick up trays and beer pitchers under the big tent - wipe, clean, and return for use.

Parking Lot Attendants
Direct patrons to the correct places to park during the Jamboree.

Grounds & Shelter House Attendant
Help monitor the playground, shelter house, and behind the building Saturday evening during the concert.

5K Run/Walk
Be a crossing guard or stand at a corner on the race route and guide participants to the finish line.

Sunday Dinner
Helpers needed in the kitchen, on the food line, seating guests, and running the dishwasher.

Live Auction Display
Like to be in the air conditioning? Sit in the foyer with the display of Live Auction items and invite people to come to the auction on Sunday & bid under the big tent at 2:00 pm!

Pull Tabs
Walk around the Jamboree and sell pull tabs, similar to lottery tickets. Some pull tabs will be instant winners!

50/50 Raffle Tickets
Adults and high schoolers can sell these raffle tickets. Walk around the Jamboree and sell tickets while announcing the current amount they could win. The pot grows as more tickets are sold. Winner receives 50% of total ticket sales.

General Raffle Tickets
Sit/stand at a booth and sell raffle tickets for the many prize packages available.

BINGO & Cake Walk
Inside the building this year! Help pick up quarters and run the games.

Country Store & Crafts
Help at check out with credit card reader/iPad and arrange items for sale on the tables.

Info/Stewardship Booth
Help answer questions about some of our parish ministries, offer free giveaways, and hold on to the volunteer schedule notebook - helping volunteers to be in the right place at the right time for their shift.

Snack Shack
Sell ice cream, popcorn, nachos, hot dogs, and candy during the Jamboree. It’s fast-paced & exciting to work the Snack Shack during the concert Saturday night!

Clean Up
Helpers needed Sunday afternoon and early Monday morning for clean up, tear down, and storage. Need extra hands on Monday to help get the classrooms ready for Religious Education classes.

Religious Education is offered:

• Sunday mornings 9:00-10:15 am for Pre-K through 6th Grade (Pre-K children must be four years old by August 31, 2026)
• Sunday evenings 5:30-7:00 pm for Confirmation I and 2 Classes
  

Fees: $50 per student.  An additional Sacramental fee of $25 will be assessed for those enrolling in 2nd grade, and Confirmation 1 and 2.  
*Free Registration for students of parents who serve as a catechist or catechist aide for the whole year.

Registration for 2026-2027 year is open until September 27th. 

*Confirmation classes begin with Parent-Student Orientation on Sunday, August 23rd at 5:30 pm in the Parish Hall. 

*RE for Pre-K through 6th grade begins with a Parent-Student Meeting in the Parish Hall on Sunday, September 20th. First day in the classroom is Sunday, September 27th.

No child will be denied a Catholic Religious Education due to an inability to pay. Scholarships are available. Contact the church office for more information.

October 1, 2025: The Archdiocese signed the construction contract with KBS Constructors this week. KBS anticipates construction beginning mid-October. Once construction begins, a fence will barricade the site which will close the parking lot drive to the backside of the church. The front of the church will be accessible from 46th Street and the back of the church will be accessible from Green Hills Rd.

Current Total Construction Cost: $9,816,337

Building Fund Savings: $5,149,758

There are many great ways to make your gift to the Do Something Beautiful for God campaign. Pledge: A three-year pledge allows you to maximize your giving to the campaign by spreading your gift over three years. Your pledge payments can be set up as automatic withdrawals from your bank account or you can make scheduled payments by check.

Gift of Securities: Gifts of securities (stocks, bonds, mutual funds) are a great way to make a gift or pay down your pledge. If you donate an appreciated security, you can avoid paying capital gains taxes. If you would like to make your gift in this manner, please contact Lisa Hebert in the parish office for instructions to assist your advisor on how to deliver the security to the campaign.

Qualified Charitable Distribution from IRA: Normally, a distribution from your IRA is taxed as ordinary income, but a special IRS provision allows those who are 70½ or older, to make a direct gift from your IRA to any qualifying charity, federal tax-free. Your gift counts toward your required minimum distribution (RMD). You can make a gift in any amount up to $105,000 per year to the campaign.

Donor Advised Fund: Many parishioners have contributed to Donor Advised Funds over the years. If you have a Donor Advised Fund, you can make gifts and pledge payments from your fund.

Commodities: This could be a great time to turn bushels of grain, corn, or soybeans into a gift to the campaign. Depending on the circumstances, farmers who make a gift could potentially save on taxes and deduct the cost of production.

Sometimes support to our parish families can come from simply taking them a meal.

The MTCC Mary's Helping Hands ministry is comprised of parishioners who are willing to cook and deliver a meal for those within our parish family who may be facing a hardship or a major life event.
